After abdominoplasty surgery

Considering having abdominoplasty surgery, ask your surgeon about anything you don't understand as this will give you a basic understanding of the procedure and operation. If you plan for future pregnancies or still on weight loss programme then having abdominoplasty operation should be postpone or wait for a better time.

After surgery you will expect your abdomen to be swollen and will feel pain and discomfort but your doctor will gives you medication to controlled it. Start walking
even if you feel hard to stand straight after one or two days after your operation.

Five to seven days surface stitches will be removed and deeper sutures will come out in two to three weeks. After a month or even less you will feel like your old self again and back to works. Light exercise will help you heal better but avoiled vigorous exercise. Exercise will help to reduce swelling, less risk of blood clots and also tone muscles.
